Goal 1. Reduce energy by becoming an energy efficient community.

A. Units of government will lead an energy efficiency campaign in the community.
B.Every public building will install insulation and energy efficient appliances.
C.Increase awareness of energy efficient measures in the neighborhoods.
D.Reduce waste by 10% through recycling.
E.Develop and distribute a comprehensive listing of recycling centers for various products.
 
 

 

 

Goal 2. Eliminate plastic bags from the community.

 

 

Goal 3. Create a healthy environment

A. Create a plant a tree day in the community and plant at least 100 new trees every year.
B.Create a least one community garden in each unit of government for use by residents to grow vegetables.
Create an Environmental Explorers Group of young people and adults to learn about the environment and to take on projects.
